A mixture of both. I saw this video yesterday. it is a cool idea for sure but not knowing these people makes it a little cheesy. But now that this video has gone viral I am sure they will be on some talk shows and explain the real meaning behind the dude making a fake movie trailer to propose to his GF.

From the video it seemed like everyone in the theatre knew the couple. Everyone at the end seemed to be congratulating them and all.

It looked like everyone knew the couple. If I was there in the theatre and that “preview” started playing I would be like This is total BS. I personally don’t care about this sort of thing. I just don’t see there being random people cause after the preview it seems like the entire screen stops playing anything. If you had paid for a movie and this happened, I would be rightfully angry and that is what leads me to believe everyone there already knew what was going on.

As far as her knowing everyone, it is surprisingly easy to get people into a theatre without noticing anything around them. If the lights were already off it is that much easier, or have someone distracting her on her phone. It is easy to get people not focused on that sort of thing. But like I first mentioned we need to hear more of the story.
