#1) [MUSIC] Save your children - gateway gay bands to avoid

http://www.lovegodsway.org/GayBands

One of the most dangerous ways Homosexuality invades family life is through popular music. Parents, please keep careful watch over your children’s listening habits. Especially in this age of Internet mp3 piracy.

There are multiple levels of Gay Music. Some bands are what we like to call Gateway Bands. They lure children in with Pop Grooves and Salacious Melodies leaving them wanting more. They’ll move on to more dangerous bands and the next thing you know you’ve got a homosexual for a child.

We’ve taken the time to highlight the bands that are particularly Gay. Please take the time and dissect your child’s CD / iTunes catalog. If you find 3 or more of these bands in their collection it is time to take action.

We Strongly recommend that you burn the CDs. Make sure your child is watching. Make sure they can feel the heat. It is crucial that the image remains emblazoned in their young minds. They need to know that if they continue to listen to these bands they may Burn eternally as well.

Notes of interest:

Elton John is on the list twice, which is probably why the 2nd time he is listed as 'really gay.' Also note that according to the instructions, if you find 3 or more of these bands on your child's ipod, it is time to "take action." If you find Elton John on your child's playlist, that counts as two gay bands.

    Ted Nugent (loincloth)

    Toby Keith (cowboy)

Black People - not sure if this is a band or just in general

Bjork (mb) - not sure what 'mb' means

    Marilyn Manson (dark gay)

    Cole Porter

    George Michael (texan)

The Smiths are on the list, but Morrissey is only listed as 'questionable'

No Butthole Surfers? Their name alone should get them on the list

"Safe Band" notes of interest:

    Cheap Trick - really?

    Dresden Dolls - really?

    Cyndi Lauper - really?

    Blondie - really?

I notice Prussian Blue is not on the list. I've heard they've disavowed their mother's supremacist notions, but still you'd think they'd be here under the "golden oldie" category

Wow. "tricks girls into lesbianism." So that's how it works!

Radiohead? Did I miss something? What is it about radiohead that sets off a xtian fundie?

Earlier I read a DOOMZ article about how gay marriage spells disaster for our society (and, ironically, meant the onset of Big Brother government--because barring certain people from marrying is the very definition of "small" government, right). These guys have some serious paranoia issues. How does a person become so wrapped up in this stuff?

By the way, this smells like a parody site.

I've listened to a LOT of those bands and have never once thought about having sex with another girl...until today...when I heard a Lil Wayne song on the radio...then my co-worker started looking kind of hot... :innocent:

Yeah, I finally figured out it was a parody. If you watch the video of Donny Davies on the site, it has a funnyordie logo on it.

I had actually wikpedia-ed (is that a verb?) Donnie Davies earlier but came up with nothing, but it turns out I had misspelled his name.
